The Wilson Learning Cottage is a primary learning level homeschool education program that focuses on providing resources and in-person activities for Georgia homeschool families.
Please refer to the fee section at the top of this page. WE DO NOT ACCEPT PAYMENTS OF ANY KIND AT THE TIME OF OUR IN-PERSON ACTIVITIES OR FIELD TRIPS.
No. All fees listed are separate however, if you sign up for a membership and complete a homeschool meetup waiver for our activities, the total amount will be due at one time. For example: A Tiny Cottage Membership PLUS Field Trip Fees for a Family of 2 would cost $125 at the time of sign up. A Family of 2 that is only interested in our field trips/in-person activities would cost $150 at the time of services and every separate homeschool social meet up afterwards. Field trip/Activity fees are due prior to attendance so, if you want to skip activities for a week or two, there are no fees associated.
No. You will be automatically charged monthly for your membership services but not for activity fees. What if you don't need our membership services anymore? You may cancel at any time. Please note that with cancelling your membership, you are agreeing to forfeit any previous payments made to the Wilson Learning Cottage. More information regarding membership cancellations are available in our Terms and Conditions.
While we encourage parents to be present for the entire duration of all homeschool social meet-ups, children may be left in the care of the Wilson Learning Cottage pending pre-written approval from Miss. Wilson. Please be aware that at this time, the Wilson Learning Cottage is a weekend-only homeschool social meet up. As much as we enjoy our homeschoolers, our program does not align with the criteria and protocols of a child care center such as a daycare so please prepare yourself and your child/ren for a non-daycare experience.
We have a FREE beginner's eGuide to assist you with the pivot to a successful homeschool journey once you join our mailing list on our home page. By law, the Wilson Learning Cottage cannot legally withdraw children from any public or private school setting regardless of county or state.
We have received education related ADHD strategy techniques and practices through coursework offered by the University of New York. While we are not a designated special needs homeschool program, we are capable of utilizing said strategies and techniques to offer an inclusive educational homeschool social learning environment to the BEST of our capability. Please be advised that we do not possess the extensive knowledge or staff for children with special needs outside of educational/learning purposes. More information about our special needs disclaimer is available in our homeschool meet up waiver and homeschool parent handbook.
